Karen NapierKaren Napier

Hi. I am Karen Napier. I am a sonographer that works in healthcare here in Livingston. I have four grown sons, three 3 wonderful daughters-in-law and five grandchildren so far! My youngest son is an Aggie he graduated from A&M in December 2021. After they started moving out and starting their own lives I decided to work on me that’s when I joined Vickery’s Sweat Shop in May 2019. It was the best decision for my health I have ever made and this led me to become certified in two different cycling classes, including Les Mills The Trip and Spin. The group classes keep me motivated to increase my fitness goals and stay healthy. I love to instruct to see us all obtain our fitness goals together.

Katie GarrisonKatie Garrison

Hi, I’m Katie Garrison. I am a Les Mills GRIT coach and a YogaFit Worldwide yoga instructor. I love the high intensity that GRIT brings to challenge the body and mental toughness. I equally love the balance, flexibility, stability, and relaxation that yoga brings to the table. They’re so different, but so needed! We need to be challenged, and we need to learn to go with the flow! See you in class!

Jennifer Gearhart

Hi, I’m Jennifer. I’m married with 6 kiddos. We moved to Livingston in 2013 from Albuquerque, NM, where I was born and raised. We are very involved with our church, love to go camping and travel, and sometimes remodel our home together. Fitness was never a part of my life until a friend dragged me to Vickery’s Sweat Shop, where I very quickly discovered my deep passion for group fitness. With lots of support, I am certified as a Les Mills Advanced BodyCombat instructor. I love watching people challenge themselves, support each other, and push themselves to new levels they didn’t know they could reach, all while having a BLAST!

Claire BarkerClaire Barker

I’m a certified Les Mills Body Combat and BodyPump Instructor. I love helping others become stronger and healthier. I like to have goals. When we set a goal for ourselves and then reach that goal, there is a feeling of accomplishment. Seeing my participants meet their goals continues to drive me as well. They inspire me!

Jody Goodwin

In my 30s, I fell in love with my new lifestyle and decided to become a fitness instructor when I turned 40. it was the greatest birthday gift ever! As 50 is creeping up on me, I still love it, maybe even more. I am a certified Level 2 Spinning, Body Pump, TRX Suspension Training instructor, and I also teach High Intensity Interval Training (HIIT). I have also taught a few Boot Camps throughout the community. My biggest reward being a fitness instructor is to be a part of helping others discover that they are actually capable of so much more than they ever realized, both physically and mentally.

Christane Tidwell

Hey, y’all! My name is Christane. I am a veteran’s wife, mother of two, special needs advocate, baker of healthier treats, and fitness instructor at Vickery’s Sweat Shop. I am Livingston born and raised in this beautiful little town of ours. My hobbies include spending time with my family, crafting, baking, and all things nutrition and fitness!

I am licensed in many different fitness formats. I currently teach POUND, VIBE ride, and The Trip. My fitness journey started a little over 10 years ago when postpartum depression and baby weight hit me. I was very intimidated by the gym and the fit people who went when I first started. I started to lose weight and feel beautiful again as well as fall in love with the like-minded community at the gym. From there, I became addicted to encouraging others to live their best, healthiest, happiest lives and wanted to take the next step in helping others obtain their goals as well!

Susanne Sherrard

Hi, I’m Susanne. I’m blessed to be married to my best friend and have one daughter and two grandkids. I also love to paint. I began my yoga healing journey a couple of years ago due to limited mobility in my hips from sitting so much at work, I became a certified yoga instructor through the Yoga & Wellness Vault School of Yoga, a Yoga Alliance certification, as well as certified through The Pilates Vault, certified in seated pilates. I teach chair yoga, modified yoga, chair pilates, and modified pilates. My classes are great for everyone, especially seniors, those recovering from injury, or people with limited mobility who want to increase strength, flexibility, balance, posture, improve mobility and more. I’d love to have you join us.
